No, it’s not a soaring soprano, a dashing leading man or an enigmatic director. This weekend, the Phantom of the Opera will celebrate 25 years on the stage.
Broadway shows are a favorite activity of students on our New York tours and Phantom of the Opera has fans across the nation and the world, so here are a few items to note about the beloved musical:

Phantom of the Opera 25th Anniversary Celebrations
On October 2, the musical will play at London's Royal Albert Hall and be simultaneously broadcast to movie theaters in the United States, Europe, Canada, Japan and Australia with rebroadcasts on Oct. 5, 6 and 11.
